POSITION SUMMARY Are you excited by community engagement? Do you want to work along side a team to build community partnerships and programming, then Grinnell College is looking for you. We are looking for the right person to fill our Post Baccalaureate Community Partnerships role.  Reporting to the Director of Community and Government Relations, this candidate will play a key role in strengthening community partnerships and planning initiatives. They will help bring to life and tell the story of the college’s external partnerships and focus on the new programming initiatives in the new Weingart Civic Innovation Pavilion.   This is a term position for 1 year with the option to renew for one additional year.   Key Responsibilities * Assist in the planning, logistics, promotion and execution of events with focus on community engagement in Renfrow Hall/Weingart Civic Innovation Pavilion * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input, track action items and support team goals * Manage project timelines, deliverables and deadlines * Maintain project documentation, gather and synthesize date for reports. * Work with internal and external partners to highlight stories and outcomes. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree * Experience with project management, communication and data analysis and visualization * Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset * Champions Diversity Equity and Inclusion * Adaptable and solution oriented * Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of tasks and comfortable working as part of a team * Thrives in mission-driven, people focused environment * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and program management tools. Preferred Qualifications * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools * Editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. * Experience with event logistics and coordination.
