Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Loan Delivery Final Docs Specialist enters the received and shipped dates into the loan origination system for all incoming trailing documents, prints cover sheets from the loan origination system file, and ships the document to the investor who has purchased the loan from the company.   Duties include: * Picks up each day’s incoming mail and enters the receipt date into the loan origination system * Prints the Final Docs Checklist for applicable loans * Scans documents to the appropriate file in the loan origination system * Ships the Final Docs to each investor at a minimum of once a week * Analyzes document errors and determines best corrective document and action * Utilizes the “Final Docs Tracking (Loan Delivery) All Loans” report at least weekly, with follow up on aging docs * Utilizes the “Final Docs Corrections Tracking DOT/Title” report to track corrections that have been ordered * Tracks all GNMA final docs and notifies Secondary team of any outstanding issues  * Performs aged document fee invoice reconciliation in conjunction with Accounting team * Consistently  communicates with the title company to secure original documents and/or corrections * Updates the loan origination system as appropriate * Adheres to all Final Docs service level agreements with respect to auditing and scanning, delivering to the investor, and additional investor/DMI requests * Responsible for sorting incoming company mail, ordering and maintaining company supplies, and oversight of breakroom stock and cleanliness Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: * 1-3 years of applicable working experience; mortgage experience is a plus * High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus Skills: * Good communication skills * Aptitude for self-development and learning * Proficient with MS Office * Proficient with MS Excel spreadsheet creation and reporting * Strong planning and organization skills
Responsibilities
The specialist is responsible for managing the final documentation process for sold loans, including entering receipt dates, printing checklists, scanning documents, and shipping final documents to investors weekly. Duties also involve analyzing document errors, tracking corrections, and reconciling aged document fees with the Accounting team.
