JOB SUMMARY

The Center for Food Demand Analysis and Sustainability (CFDAS) at Purdue tracks consumer insights and the economics of the food system to produce timely reports on trends and emerging topics. Reporting to Dr. Joseph Balagtas, the Post-Doctoral Research Associate will collaborate with the CFDAS team to conduct research related consumer behavior in food markets, including food demand analysis, consumer nutrition and health, and competition in retail food markets.

EXPERIENCE

The successful applicant will hold a Ph.D. in agricultural economics or related fields. The successful applicant should have experience using statistical programming languages, such as R, Python, SAS, etc.
The successful applicant will hold a Ph.D. in agricultural economics, applied economics, or a related field, with evidence of applicable empirical skills.
