DESCRIPTION & DETAILS:
The Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute (UGPTI) at NDSU is seeking candidates for a Post Doc Information Systems Researcher position
focusing on Software/Database/GIS/AI Development position. The primary objectives of this position are: (1) work with research team member to
complete ongoing software development, informatics process and research outreach activities related to transportation safety, logistics, management,
and planning. (2) to utilize skills in information systems applications for software development, GIS dashboards, and AI development related to
decision support for road safety and other rural road research project goals. (3) use exceptional communication skills to work closely with the UGPTI
team, partner agencies, and community stakeholders on road safety and related decision support tools and research. The UGPTI offers a wonderful
environment for professional growth and inspiration in our interdisciplinary research and outreach program. The individual will have the opportunity to
utilize his/her strengths in contributing to a growing research program, data synthesis and knowledge building. This position is non-tenure and full-
time benefited.
