DESCRIPTION

The Division of Science, Mathematics department at New York University Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit a postdoctoral associate to work with Weiren Zhao on subjects including (in no particular order):

• Stability/Instability of coherent structures in 2D/3D flows.
• Stability/Instability in geophysical fluids and plasma physics.
• Spectral theory for non-self-adjoint operators.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (or be close to completing one). Ph.D. holders with a strong publication record and a background in analysis and PDE are encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted immediately, and candidates will be considered until the position is filled. To be considered, all applicants need to submit:

• and provide three recommendation letters.
