University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine – Aging Institute, 100 Technology Drive, Suite 550, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 Principal Investigator: Dr. Shihui Liu The Department of Medicine, Aging Institute is hiring a postdoctoral associate. This postdoctoral associate will participate in investigating the PI3K/mTOR and RAS-RAF-MEK-ERK pathways in pathogenesis. This postdoctoral associate will also apply the knowledge learned to develop safe and effective therapeutics for eliminating senescent cells or blocking those cells to secrete SASP factors to improve health and even life span. The successful candidate will hold a recently awarded PhD in life science and/or MD.

Responsibilities

The postdoctoral associate will investigate the PI3K/mTOR and RAS-RAF-MEK-ERK pathways in pathogenesis. They will also develop therapeutics for eliminating senescent cells or blocking their secretion of SASP factors.
