Description

Applications are being accepted for a post-doctoral associate with a Ph.D. in a microbiology or biochemistry or a related field to conduct scholarly research on Gram-positive secretion chaperones. Position is for one year in length with a proposed start date of January 1, 2026. The successful applicant will have strong experience in both microbiology and biochemistry, including the ability to purify proteins and experience with ITC and MST. Additional expertise in microbial genetics and molecular biology is preferred. The applicant should have demonstrated expertise in microbiology and biochemistry through a strong training and publication record in these fields. The candidate will also be expected to be a full participant in the intellectual activities of the laboratory, including group meetings, preparation of grants and fellowship applications, manuscript review, journal clubs, and mentoring students and technicians in the laboratory.
