Description
The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, is seeking a postdoctoral associate to work at the Magee-Womens Research Institute in Kyle Orwig’s lab. The candidate will perform studies on stem cells, gametogenesis, and fertility/infertility in vitro as well as in animal models, including mice, monkeys, and humans. The laboratory is very collaborative. The candidate will lead their own independent research projects and will be supported in their work by other lab trainees and staff. Similarly, they will be expected to support the work of other lab members. They will also be expected to contribute to the teaching mission of the lab by helping to train new lab members, as well as high school students, college undergraduate students, and others. Finally, they will be expected to apply for grant funding, if eligible.
