The Biomedical Data Mining Lab, Department of Radiology, at University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore is seeking a candidate for postdoctoral researcher position to conduct collaborative research aimed at the development of novel data mining algorithm to neuroimaging, genetic, and clinical data for brain disorders such as Parkinson’s disease. We seek candidates with expertise in data mining, medical image analysis, programming, and Unix/Linux. The candidate is also expected to assist in data management. The candidate must also possess strong communication and organizational skills. a..Qualifications A PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with biomedical data analysis emphasis or related fields is required. Previous experience in developing novel data mining algorithm, magnetic resonance (MR) image analysis, Unix/Linux Shell programming, FSL, SPM, AFNI, C/C++ programming is preferred.
