LSTM is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team working on the Urban TRACS: Transformative Research for Adaptation to Climate Change in Informal Settlements project. This exciting role will support participatory research across Kenya and Sierra Leone, focused on empowering poor and marginalised urban communities to adapt to climate change. You will work collaboratively with international partners and community-based organisations to design, conduct, and disseminate high-quality qualitative, quantitative, and participatory research, helping to strengthen inclusive and equitable climate resilience.
The post-holder will lead and support various components of the project, including co-designing interventions, contributing to theory and evidence-based recommendations, and mentoring master’s students. You will play a key role in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), developing new funding proposals, and communicating findings through diverse formats including blogs, policy briefs, and conference presentations.
INCLUSION IS CENTRAL TO OUR VALUES AT LSTM
We are committed to attracting and recruiting diverse individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, nationality, faith, social background, age, or disability. LSTM selects candidates based on skills, qualifications, and experience. We welcome applications from individuals seeking flexible working arrangements or returning to employment after a career break.
