Industry/Service Higher Education Position Post-Doctoral Research Associate - Jal Jeevan Mission Purpose Assist in carrying out high quality empirical applied research in rural drinking water and sanitation sector to address sectoral challenges and facilities in the achievement of ‘Har Ghar Jal’ and ODF plus in rural India and assist in related education capacity building and Training and outreach activities. Reporting to Chair Professor, Jal Jeevan Mission Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities Assist in carrying out research projects and capacity building exercise. Work on data collection, statistical tools/ MS Excel for data analysis. Assist in preparing draft reports and organizing training programmes. Co-ordinate with other stakeholders Deliver periodic reports and presentations of findings. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualification and Personal Profile Ph.D. in Economics/ Management Key Skill and Ability Requirements Excellent oral and written communication skills. Mature attitude with a capability to discuss coordination/ research issues with other stakeholders/ team members. Knowledge of sources of data and data collection methods Familiarity with statistical tools for data analysis and report generation Excellent MS skills are a must. Confident and self-motivated.
