Join Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and contribute to a multi-omics research project aimed at controlling mosquito vector-borne diseases. Working within an internationally recognised Vector Biology Department, you will be part of a collaborative team investigating a bioproduct-based bait trap designed to block malaria parasite transmission by targeting mosquito survival and parasite-vector communication.
We are seeking a candidate with strong expertise in GC-MS sample collection and analysis. This role offers the opportunity to take part in research involving techniques such as GC and LS_MS design, blend preparation, NMR, odour collection, NMR and LC extraction, GC and LC quantification and analysis. You will support the team to conduct research projects, analyse findings, write scientific papers, and assist in drafting and disseminating scientific publications.
You will be part of the Infection Biology Communication team and will also contribute to wider activities, including the Programme’s short courses overseas, partner capacity development, and supporting ongoing research across the department.
Be part of a mission-driven organisation making a real impact on global health.
