SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE TEACHING AND RESEARCH DIVISION Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (One position) (25260681) We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative research project on developing a Chinese Medicine Core Competence Framework in Hong Kong. This project is coordinated by the School of Chinese Medicine at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), in collaboration with the School of Chinese Medicine at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Recognising the critical role of public health perspectives in shaping healthcare, this project offers a unique platform to establish a comprehensive undergraduate training framework for Chinese medicine practitioners, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. We are currently seeking a motivated research post-doctorate fellow to join our team. The project involves the following research methodologies: 1. Systematic Review: Synthesising local and international literature from the past decade regarding competency requirements for healthcare professionals; 2. Stakeholder Engagement: Conducting multi-round focus group discussions and public consultations to gather professional opinions; and 3. Delphi Method: Adopting a formal consensus-building process to finalise the framework with an expert panel. Responsibilities: * Co-leading research implementation, including systematic reviews and data synthesis; * Facilitating the organisation and logistics of focus groups and public consultation meetings; * Coordinating the preparation and administration of Delphi questionnaire surveys; * Co-leading the administrative and logistical arrangements for research meetings and academic symposia; and * Drafting and editing of research reports and academic publications. Requirements: * A Ph.D. degree granted by a local Chinese medicine institution, specialising in epidemiological studies of Chinese medicine; and * With prior experience in designing and implementing systematic review, focus group, and expert consensus research. Responsibilities
