SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE CLINICAL DIVISION Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (Sleep and Mental Health Research) (25260418) Project Introduction: The School of Chinese Medicine at HKBU is dedicated to advance sleep and mental health research. Our research focuses on developing and evaluating the efficacy of various novel interventions for the treatment of sleep and mental disorders, drawing on traditional Chinese medicine (e.g., Chinese herbal medicine & acupuncture), exercise science (e.g., Tai Chi), and psychotherapy (e.g., CBT-I). Our work has led to multiple publications in top-tier journals, including the BMJ, the Lancet Child & Adolescent Health, British Journal of Sports Medicine, and more. More information about our work: https://scholars.hkbu.edu.hk/en/persons/danny-yu/ Responsibilities: Coordinate and supervise the conduct of clinical trials; Manage clinical trial datasets and conduct data analysis; Draft manuscript as lead author and support grant proposal preparation; Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines for human participant research; and Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements: A Ph.D. degree in Chinese medicine, psychology, public health, nursing, or a related field; Experience in clinical research involving human participants is required; Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitasking; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Detail-oriented, ensuring precision and quality in all tasks; and Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team. The initial appointment will be on a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
