Applications are invited for Post Foundation Fellowships at Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust.
A number of posts are available to commence from 6th August 2025 through to 4 th August 2026.
Tailor your rotation to enhance your portfolio for future training applications.
Flexibility to ensure experience in preferred specialty whether medical, surgical or paediatrics.
‘Taster’ placements in non-foundation specialties.
Education placements are also available where you will be able to teach all aspects of the medical curriculum to our students.
Unpaid prolonged breaks of up to 2 months duration with the knowledge of a job on your return (August cannot be taken as unpaid leave).
Ability to pursue further study either for professional examinations or additional qualifications. We have links with local universities to allow 1 year part time study for (e.g.) Post Graduate Certificate in Education or patient safety. We would be willing to consider support for candidates wishing to do alternative qualifications.
The opportunity to be involved in national or local audits to enhance any future job applications.
Candidates must have successfully completed Foundation Training (or equivalent) by the end of July 2025.
Ward based working in preferred specialty (if possible)
On-call commitments on FY2/ST1 rota with expectations of nights and weekend working.
There will be availability / possibility to also participate in departmental teaching / audit sessions, clinics and day units. There is also the possibility to participate in national audits if interested within each specialty.
