Location/Division Specific Information: As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG), the High Point, NC site focuses on gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies. How Will You Make an Impact? The Post Production Associate II will be responsible for inspecting product, cleaning trays/deeps and operation the tray inspection machine to ensure quality of product. A Day in the Life: Inspect capsules on inspection trays, removes defects such as odd shapes, transfer marks, and leakers. Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP’s, and MSDS memos. Clean used trays/deeps, sweep capsules from floor, removed lodged capsules in equipment. Operates deepless rooms with vision system, sample and test product, and operate box maker machine and transfer information to SAP. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation. Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested. Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
