  Seven’s ‘Sunrise’ is looking for an experienced Casual Video Editor to join our dynamic team who work around the clock to produce more than 25 hours of live television every week.
  Based in Eveleigh and reporting to the Sunrise Senior Editor you will be responsible for editing Weekend Sunrise and Sunrise short form Interviews, Entertainment, Human Interest and Consumer content as well as News. Liaising with Producers and Reporters the goal is to achieve desired results creatively and to a high standard. This role requires shift work, compromising Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons as well as on-call shifts mid-week.

You will have:

• A dynamic work ethic, creativity and fast, accurate editing skills
• The ability to work with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines
• The drive and commitment to create a quality product and
• A highly developed attention to detail is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience editing news footage or similar
• Experience working in a server-based broadcast environment

We are looking for someone who has:

• Interest in News and Current Affairs
• Preferably experience editing with Quantel (Grass Valley Cube) and Premiere Pro
• Excellent communication and people skills
• The drive to create a quality product
• The ability to remain calm while working under pressure
