Job Details Job Location: Portland, OR 97202 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary Job Summary The Post-Production Producer is responsible for the efficient, on-time delivery of all still imagery assets. This role owns the entire post-production pipeline, strictly enforcing schedules and managing asset flow from file ingestion through final web delivery. The Producer acts as the primary project manager for the creative team, ensuring critical deadlines are maintained and freeing the Director to focus on strategic creative decision-making. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with three days in-office and two remote workdays per week. Key Responsibilities 1. Post-Production Project Management & Oversight Deadline Management: Establish and rigorously maintain all post-production due dates and delivery schedules. This is the primary role, ensuring final images are delivered on time to stakeholders (Web/E-commerce, Marketing, PR). Workflow Management: Own and continuously optimize the still imagery post-production workflow for all channels. Capacity Planning: Work closely with the Pre-Production Producer to forecast incoming asset volume and allocate resources effectively across internal retouching and external vendors. Project Tracking: Implement and manage project management tools (e.g., ClickUp) to provide real-time status updates on all images in the queue. Budget Management: Monitor post-production costs, including agency invoices and software, ensuring work stays within budget. 2. Team & Vendor Coordination Internal Team Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact and workflow organizer for the in-house photo retouching team (On-Model, Product, and Retoucher roles). External Vendor Management: Manage relationships, contracts, quality, and delivery schedules with all external post-production vendors. File Handoff: Ensure seamless and accurate handoff of files from the photography team to the retouching team, including clear instructions, selects, and technical specifications. 3. Quality Control & Archiving Final Review: Conduct a final quality control check on all finished imagery to confirm technical specifications, brand guidelines, and creative direction are met before final delivery. Asset Delivery: Manage the final delivery process of all finished images to all internal and external platforms (DAM, FTP, shared drives). Archiving: Oversee the organization and archiving of all final and working image files. Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 4+ years of experience in a dedicated Post-Production role or Project Management role within a high-volume creative studio (e-commerce, fashion, or editorial photography preferred). Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the Capture1 and Adobe Photoshop workflow. Familiarity with image file formats, color profiles, and web compression standards. Project Management Expertise: Proven experience implementing and utilizing project management software to manage complex schedules. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical requirements and project status. Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to proactively address bottlenecks and rapidly adjust schedules based on shifting priorities.
