MyLearningCoach is looking for independent contractors to provide virtual academic coaching (a blend of academic strategy instruction, tutoring and advising support) to students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate post-secondary studies.

• Support post-secondary students with various disabilities (learning disabilities, ADHD, ASD, mental health, etc) to utilize strategies and resources that mitigate barriers to learning
• Teach metacognitive learning strategies, study skills, executive function/organization, research and academic writing skills
• Coaching is completed remotely with flexible full or part-time hours depending on the availability of the coach and student
• Competitive pay commensurate with qualifications and experience

We are specifically looking for professionals who can support with university level math, stats, accounting, engineering, and trades

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Education and Graduate degree in related field.
• Experience delivering individual and small-group instruction
• Competent in supporting neuro-diverse learners
• Strong pedagogical beliefs that align with a social model of disability
• Teaching experience is required
• Canadian citizens residing in Canada.
