The Chemical Sciences and Engineering Division at Argonne National Laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral Appointee to conduct innovative research focused on the synthesis, recycling, and performance characterization and degradation characterization of electrode materials for high energy density lithium-ion battery systems. This research will explore fundamental aspects of material synthesis, recycling, degradation mechanisms, and electrochemical performance, utilizing a variety of synthesis techniques and advanced structural and electrochemical characterization methods.
The appointee will work closely with researchers in the Electrochemical Energy Storage Department and partners, as well as collaborators at both on-site and off-site facilities, to design and perform experiments that advance understanding in the field.

The expected hiring range for this position is $70,758.00-$117,925.00.
