Hillcrest Psychological Associates is seeking a Postdoctoral Psychological Associate who would like to begin or continue accruing hours toward licensure as a psychologist in the state of California to work in-person at our Hillcrest or La Jolla location. Private practice schedule, 30-33 hours/week. Excellent work/life balance.
Our practice serves a diverse range of clientele including college students, graduate students, professionals, members of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, and clients with trauma. We are looking for clinicians with an interest in gaining experience and/or expertise in these area. This is an excellent opportunity to be supervised in feminist multicultural, trauma informed, and decolonizing approaches to therapy.
We provide the clients and the furnished office, along with individual and group supervision, administrative support, insurance paneling, claims submissions, billing, electronic records management, and vacation on-call support. You do all the things you love (therapy) and we do all the things you hate (billing, paneling, marketing).
As required by California law, you would be an employee and we would provide supervision so that your hours would count toward licensure.
Graduates of PhD or PsyD programs in clinical or counseling psychology are invited to apply by sending a cover letter and CV. Minimum expectation is 25 scheduled client hours/week. Can accrue up to 33 hours/week toward licensure. $70 per clinical hour. $20/hour for administrative work and supervision.
