Job Description:
Under the supervision of a licensed forensic psychologist, providing clinical and forensic psychological services to an inpatient program, an outpatient pre-trial referral program, and a conditional release program for persons acquitted as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity, with the following specialties: Conduct court-ordered evaluations and expert testimony to State, Superior and Juvenile courts, as needed, regarding opinions of competency to stand trial and degree of criminal responsibility (i.e., sanity); Supervises assigned inpatient clinical staff, as able and needed; Conduct violence risk assessments and other clinical or forensic psychological evaluations; Provide group and/or individual psychotherapy with forensic inpatients or outpatients, as needed; and, Other clinical/forensic psychological services as able and needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university AND completion of an APA-approved psychology internship.
Completion of APA accredited Ph.D. or Psy.D. Program.
