Description
Applicants should have/be (i) a PhD degree; (ii) a highly-motivated individual with previous experience in at least one of the following research area(s): (1) stem cells molecular/ bio-engineering research (iPS or MSCs or nerve conduits); (2) pioneering technology in sequencing/gene editing; or (3) regenerative biology in nerve injury; (iii) high quality peer-reviewed publications; (iv) a good command of both Chinese and English; (v) passion in innovative research with self-motivation; and (vi) the ability to work independently and in a team, and the capability of working under pressure. The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting the Principal Investigator with research project conduction and management; (b) assisting in platform establishment and maintenance; (c) assisting in the supervision of junior lab members; and (d) preparing manuscripts and grant applications. He/She will work at the School of Biomedical Sciences of CUHK and HKSTP in Shatin. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
