Description
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Fellow(s) to engage in cohort and clinical trials focused on sleep and mental health issues, particularly among adolescents and youth. Applicants should have (i) a Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Medical Sciences, Public Health, Statistics, or a related field; (ii) experience in conducting cohort studies or clinical trials; (iii) comfortable with interdisciplinary research; (iv) strong organisational skills, reliability, and efficiency; (v) a willingness to contribute original ideas and collaborate effectively with team members; and (vi) a passion for research and clinical translation, especially in the domains of sleep and mental health. Experience in youth mental health is a plus. The appointee will be responsible for (a) overseeing research projects and maintaining databases and protocols; (b) providing supervision to junior colleagues; (c) collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers; (d) conducting data analysis; and (e) preparing manuscripts for publication. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
