GLIMPSE OF THE JOB

The Postdoctoral Research Associates will be responsible for working with research groups at the Cyclotron Institute to carry out research in support of the Department of Energy Center of Excellence research grant. These positions will act as a leader over at least one research project, as well as supervise graduate and undergraduate students on their individual research projects. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Appropriate PhD

A WELL-QUALIFIED CANDIDATE WILL ALSO POSSESS:

• PhD in nuclear physics or nuclear chemistry or a closely aligned field.
• Ability to acquire new working knowledge quickly
• Great problem solving skills and motivation to learn
  Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
  Special Note: Due to this position’s salary having all or a portion of it being funded by grants or contracts, the continuing salary and overall employment is contingent upon availability of these funds in the future.
