POSITION SUMMARY

The Integrated Biomedical Imaging Laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate interested in developing novel hybrid noninvasive imaging systems for studying the pregnant uterus’s electrical maturation and mechanical changes. The goal of the lab is to develop tools to monitor pregnancy and labor progression and assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies to manage labor and prevent preterm birth. The lab uses innovative and cutting edge experimentation and relies heavily on bioinformatics and biomechanical systems engineering.

EDUCATION:

Ph.D., M.D. Or Equivalent Terminal Or Doctoral Degree.

Trains under the supervision of a faculty mentor including (but not limited to):

  • Assists with grant preparation and reporting.
