A postdoctoral position is available at the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, University of Alabama. This position will primarily involve manuscript writing and preparation for publication, along with some responsibilities in inorganic and organic syntheses, inorganic spectroscopy, and reactivity studies. Additionally, this position will involve working closely with the PI on student mentoring.
Applications will be considered from recent Ph.D. graduates (preferably within the last 5 years) with excellent verbal and written communication skills. An initial one-year appointment will be offered, which could be renewed contingent upon satisfactory performance and availability of funding. This position is available immediately, and the salary is commensurate based on experience and expertise.
