Description:

We are seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with practical experience in biochemical and biophysical methods of protein interaction analysis. We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious researcher interested in using state-of-the-art structural, biochemical and mechanobiological approaches to explore the mechanosensitive links between the cytoskeletal protein talin and the integrin family of cell adhesion molecules.
You will contribute to the development of a project funded by The British Heart Foundation, “Talin Dependent Mechanical Imprinting As Driver For Cardiac Disease Progression”. The project is in collaboration with Professor Thomas Iskratsch (Queen Mary¿s University London) and Professor Sanjay Sinha (University of Cambridge).
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences.
