This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a Working with Children Check The successful candidate can apply for the WWCC as part of the onboarding process. In the case the selected candidate doesn’t have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting and advancing research by participating in projects, producing high-quality scholarly publications , contributing to intellectual debate, and preparing competitive grant applications such as ARC submissions.
  • Collaborating with scholars and partners to drive interdisciplinary research initiatives, develop international collaborations, and support f aculty priorities in Childhood Studies and Early Years .
  • Engaging in knowledge dissemination and outreach through presenting at national and international conferences, publishing findings across multiple platforms, and contributing to seminars, reading groups, and research events.
  • Supporting academic leadership and community engagement by contributing to graduate research supervision where appropriate , providing project management support, and engaging with external education and community stakeholders to advance the f aculty’s research agenda.
