The Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University (Denmark) invites applications for a 36-month Postdoctoral Research Fellow position focused on Cross-Reality Analytics. The position is funded by the Center for Anytime Anywhere Analytics (CA3).
The starting date is May 1, 2025, or subject to mutual agreement.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University is ranked among the top CS departments in Europe. The department is strong in both theoretical and applied computer science. Many of the department’s research targets themes and application areas that are interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary in nature.
The Center for Anytime Anywhere Analytics (CA3) at Aarhus University, led by Professor Niklas Elmqvist, is funded by a Villum Investigator grant. Our mission is to utilize data collected globally and empower users to access and analyze it anywhere. We aim to integrate Augmented/Mixed Reality and mobile technologies to create ubiquitous analytics experiences, augmented by AI models, seamlessly embedded into the user’s environment.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time (37 hours/week) on-site role located in Aarhus, Denmark for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University. The position is limited to 3 years (36 months), but can be renewed up to a cumulative total of four (4) years. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research on cross-reality analytics as part of the CA3 center. The focus of the position will be to work on novel interaction techniques for collaborative visual analytics across different reality platforms.
