Are you an experienced researcher with a passion for advancing science? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge research in the fields of Chemistry, Materials Science, and Chemical Engineering.
The ARC Centre of Excellence for Green Electrochemical Transformation of Carbon Dioxide aims to drive innovations in carbon dioxide electrochemistry, enabling the conversion of CO2 into valuable products and supporting Australia’s transition to a carbon-neutral economy. By combining experimental and computational approaches, the Centre will develop industry-ready CO2 utilisation technologies. It will foster international collaboration, positioning itself as a hub for research, training, and strategic advice, helping to accelerate Australia’s net-zero emissions goals while fostering a sustainable economy and creating future jobs.
Candidates must have completed their degree prior to commencing the position, though it is not required at the time of the offer.
The ideal candidate will have a proficiency in a range of chemical laboratory techniques, including nanoparticle synthesis and characterisation, as well as experience in the synthesis and analysis of solid-state materials.
In addition, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience working in cross-disciplinary research environments, and those with expertise in Electrochemistry. Practical skills in advanced materials characterisation and investigating the catalytic properties of chemical systems would also be highly valuable and a proven ability to develop independent, fundable research projects will set you apart.
