WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • You have recently (max 5 years ago) gained your doctoral degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, or a closely related field.
  • You have experience in quantum error correction or related research
  • You have familiarity with NISQ devices and architectures, noise models, and error mitigation techniques
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and simulating state-of-the-art error correction codes
  • Design QEC experiments to be executed on VTT quantum computers
  • Communicating and solving the problems in tight collaboration with others at VTT
  • Dissemination of results via journal articles and conferences
