How you will build your expertise within Cabrini’s Postgraduate Nursing Program:
Cabrini Health is offering Postgraduate Nursing Program (Neuroscience) to current Cabrini staff commencing February 2026 in affiliation with Monash University. The aim of the program is to provide clinicians with the knowledge and skills for advanced clinical practice within Nursing. The course enables participants to explore critical care concepts within the neuroscience specialisation in a person-and family-centred approach. Studying this specialisation can lead to a career as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Clinical Nurse Consultant, NUM/ANUM, or Educator roles.

On successful completion of the program, the Registered Nurses will have gained sufficient credits for the award of a Graduate Certificate of Advanced Nursing (Neurosciences).
NOTE: Students will be enrolling in the Monash Master of Advanced Nursing course and exit with the Graduate Certificate of Advanced Nursing (Neurosciences).

To be eligible for the Cabrini Postgraduate Nursing program you will have:

  • Australian working rights
  • Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
  • A minimum of 2 years nursing experience post registration
  • Victorian Working with Children Check (if applicable)
  • Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
  • The ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation
  • Excellent customer service focus and communication skills

Course commences February 2026. Interviews may be held via Teams or face to face from early August 2025.
