POSITION SUMMARY:

We are hiring a skilled PostgreSQL Database Administrator for an onsite role in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing enterprise PostgreSQL environments, implementing high availability solutions, and supporting database operations across multiple platforms. This role supports critical operations in industries such as aviation, telecom, banking, and transport.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:

• 5–6+ years of hands-on experience in PostgreSQL (v14+) administration across RHEL and Windows platforms
• Background in Aviation, Telecom, Banking, or Transport domains with awareness of industry-specific compliance and data security standards
• Expertise in EDB PostgreSQL (v12+), including high availability and disaster recovery using Streaming Replication, Postgres-BDR, CitusData, and EFM
• Working knowledge of MySQL (v5–8) and MongoDB (v6+) administration
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python
• Proficient in PostgreSQL Enterprise Manager (PEM) for performance monitoring and tuning
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and automation capabilities
