As a Lecturer, you will play a key role across teaching, research, and service. This is a full-time (40 hrs per week) permanent role. The remuneration range is $99,788 - $119,204 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. He kōrero mōu | About you We’re looking for emerging academics who are passionate about teaching and research, and ready to take the next step in their academic career. Essential requirements PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field Demonstrated track record of publications in high-quality Mathematics journals Experience lecturing in Mathematics Ability to work independently across the full research and publication process Strong organisational skills Preferred experience 2–5 years postdoctoral research experience Evidence of teaching excellence (e.g. student feedback, peer review, awards) Experience supervising or co-supervising postgraduate research Ability to secure or show potential for research funding Experience contributing to academic service and administration We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to advanced Applied Mathematics teaching, including in areas such as PDEs, numerical methods, stochastic methods, or inverse problems. Ability to conduct in-person and hybrid teaching in China is also advantageous.
