Description
* Supervise and direct department employees ensuring adherence to safe food handling practices and regulatory compliance, while production quality products. * Assist Manager in staffing and continuous improvement of department through training, coaching, leading and supervising. * Enforce Company policies, procedures, regulations and practices, and GMPs within your department. * Produce and distribute reports as required. * Ensure customer standards and expectations are met. * Assist in relationship communication with USDA Inspectors and Quality Assurance team members. * Assist with interview, selection, training, onboarding and coaching of new and existing supervisors and production team members. * Lead and assist with preparation of 3rd party and internal audits. * All other relevant duties to the position. Qualifications * Bachelor Degree in Food, Animal or Poultry Science, or other closely related field of study preferred. * 3+ years supervisor experience required, preferably in poultry or meat processing. * Proficient technology, computer, mathematics and analysis skills. * Excellent communication skills. * English language skills required; Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred. 
Responsibilities
