Job Purpose and Impact The Poultry Sales Lead will be aligned to Cargill's Animal Nutrition Health business in Raipur. You will support the Poultry Animal Nutrition team with face to face and remote selling to new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels for your assigned territory. In this role, you will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions to the farmers.Key Accountabilities • In this role, you will be responsible for sales for a diverse product portfolio (Acidifiers, Toxin Binders, Emulsifiers, Post Biotics, Essential Oil Compounds, Enzymes, Non-Antibiotic Growth Promoters, Organic Trace Minerals and Vitamin & Mineral Premixes).• Help develop and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations and participate in conducting product demonstrations. • Help identify potential customers and handle existing trade customer relationships.• With guidance conduct market research and pricing, sales and merchandising activities.• Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.• Protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.• Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.• Represent the organization in promoting and selling products and services to farmers and breeders.• Build customer relationships that help generate future sales and repeat business. • Responsible for assessing customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions to the farmers and breeders.• Evaluate, measure and handle the product profit and loss.• Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • B.Sc. (Chemistry, Zoology, Biotech and related disciplines).     • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience. • Other minimum qualifications may apply.  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Years of experience: 5-6 years.• Full time Masters in Business Administration is an added advantage.• Atleast 4 years of experience in handling sales for Orissa and Chhattisgarh in the poultry sector particularly in Feed Additives or Vitamin Premixes. • Should have very strong relationships with farmers and breeders in Orissa and Chhattisgarh.• Must be fluent in the local language.• Proven experience in business growth, geographic expansion, and profitability in the assigned territory.• Strong experience of handling distributor sales specifically in rural areas.• Ability to manage multiple dealers and SKU's. Disclaimer Protect yourself against recruitment fraud.
