Description
Description QuikCut, LLC is seeking a Powder Coat Associate for our West location. Powder Coat Associates are responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal and other surfaces using powder coating techniques to ensure a high-quality, durable finish. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, or blasting as required. Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray guns in a spray booth environment. Operate curing ovens and monitor temperature and timing to ensure proper finish. Load and unload parts from the conveyor line, ensuring proper handling, ensuring proper counterweights are added. Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications. Requirements Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred. Previous experience in an industrial environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
