ATP Projects is an up-and-coming electronics and sheet metal manufacturer based just outside of Farnham, Surrey. We are a small and committed team designing and manufacturing bespoke products for use in many prestigious venues and on events and tours, in both the UK and US.
We are looking for a powder coat technician to join our workshop team, assisting in our production process - creating high-quality electrical/electronic enclosures, mainly for the entertainment industry.
The ideal candidate will be able to use powder coating machinery in addition to having experience with sheet metal and be able to fabricate, assemble, and inspect metal parts. Our workshop is a fast-flowing production environment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties: - Operate powder coating machinery and spray guns for various fabrication assemblies and parts - Hanging metal on to jigs - Complete all necessary and accompanying paperwork - Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections on finished products - Assist team members in other areas if needed - Follow the company health and safety policies and procedures
Any gaps in skills of knowledge will be supported by our in-house training.
