We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in industrial painting techniques, including powder coating and auto painting.
• Mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding practices.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for effective materials handling.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely within the work environment.

• Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Operate powder coating equipment, including airless paint spraying systems and ovens.
• Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure specifications are met.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
