POWDER COATING SPECIALIST POSITION SUMMARY Rustica Hardware is seeking to add an experienced and highly-motivated power coating specialist. This position will be responsible for powder coating metal products to good standard; identify, pick and return powder boxes correctly and according to work schedule; and provide cleaning and maintenance to powder coating spray booth and conveyor line according to specifications. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Operate electrostatic powder coating spray booth according to specification * Identify, pick and return powder boxes correctly according to work schedule * Demonstrate good ability to spray powder to correct thickness range * Possess versatility to spray to a good standard range of surfaces, awkward profiles and overcoat rejected powder coated parts * Clean down electrostatic spray guns and booths correctly * Provide maintenance of the spray gun parts and booths according to instruction * Prepare powder coating line prior to beginning the powder coating process * Maintain safe and clean work station while adhering to all safety policies and guidelines QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum of 1 year related work experience * Knowledge of warehouse and metal shop work environment * Knowledge of equipment safety standards * Possess organizational, problem solving and time management skills * Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Ability to stand, bend, lift in excess of 50 lbs. repeatedly each day * Ability to bend, stoop, squat, push, and pull parts and part containers * Ability to stand for long periods of time each day * Working in hot environment BENEFITS * Paid Vacation and Sick Time * Paid Holidays * Excellent insurance options including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Full-Time M-F (flexibility with start and end times) Rustica Hardware is an equal opportunity employer.
