Power/analog senior design engineer (Position Title: Senior Power Electronics Engineer) SolarEdge is a global leader in smart energy technology which provides cutting edge solutions for the way power is harvested and managed in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. For our technology & innovation group we are looking for power design Engineer which will practice Research & Development of new topologies and prototypes to be used in future products. This role demands a hybrid profile that blends, advanced power topology design (DC-DC, DC-AC, GaN) & Analog signal integrity (noise/stability analysis What will you be doing: Research and theoretical aspects in power electronics design (High Frequency designs leveraging Wide Band gap Devices) and mixed Signal analog circuits Simulations, calculations, board schematics, layout Monitoring & Guidance with PCB Designer, Developing Physical Prototypes (Proof of Concepts) & Demonstration. Working in lab environment and with testing equipment Requirements Mandatory Requirements: Over 8 years (up to 12 Years Maximum) of experience in power design and analog circuits. Masters in Power Electronics or Similar Electrical Engineering Streams Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience working with lab equipment (such as scope & spectrum analyzer). Experience in board layout considerations and spice (or Similar) simulations. Strong Experience with dc2dc and dc2ac conversion topologies and Magnetics Understanding of noise sources & stability requirements in Operational Amplifiers Creative, open-minded for new ideas and innovation.
