Description

Description Delta Point (DP) is currently seeking a Power BI Analyst to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI. Build and optimize data models, including star schemas, relationships, and performance-focused data structures. Develop and troubleshoot DAX measures, calculations, and business logic. Utilize Power Query and Power BI Dataflows to cleanse, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources. Create and maintain automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments. Partner with business leaders to identify key metrics, performance indicators, and reporting needs. Present insights and recommendations to leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. Troubleshoot reporting, data quality, and system issues while identifying opportunities for process improvement. Develop and maintain technical documentation, report specifications, and user guidance materials. Support end users by providing training, assistance, and ongoing enhancements to reporting solutions. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve efficiency and solve business challenges. Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements The qualified candidate will possess the following experience: 2–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, including: Data modeling, relationships, and cardinality Star schema design and optimization Dashboard and report development Data visualization best practices Creating and troubleshooting DAX measures and calculations. Developing automated workflows using Power Automate. Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders. Presenting data insights and recommendations to executive leadership. Leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, solve technical challenges, and support continuous learning. Preferred Skills Exposure to or experience with Palantir Foundry, including Ontology concepts and application development. Experience supporting multiple business functions, departments, or cross-functional teams. Familiarity with data governance, reporting standards, and analytics best practices. Experience developing enterprise reporting solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making. Experience working with Microsoft 365 data sources, including SharePoint, Teams, and Excel. Working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI Dataflows for data transformation and integration. Additional Skills & Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn and apply complex business processes and organizational data structures. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation and knowledge sharing. Demonstrated professionalism and effective collaboration in a team environment.
