Description:

Contract: Temporary for 12 months, 37 hours per week, Hybrid Working (3 days office based, 2 days at home)
Salary: Grade 9 £35,235 - £37,035
Location: Fire Service Headquarters, Summergroves Way, Hull
Section: Digital Services Team (Digital Innovation Team)

No two days are the same at Humberside Fire and Rescue. From troubleshooting DAX in the morning to designing engaging dashboards in the afternoon, adaptability, and the ability to prioritise tasks based on business needs are crucial.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skills:

CURRENT SKILLS

  1. Designing and developing user friendly interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. (HFRS measure all performance management KPIs using this platform)
  2. Support and improve existing Power BI dashboards to ensure they are modern and future proof.
  3. Transfer raw data from SQL databases into relevant insights ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    The role also includes the elements below and we are comfortable if you don’t possess all of them initially but require you to have the ability to learn them through supported personal development.
