Interstate Waste Services is the most progressive and innovative provider of solid waste and recycling services in the country! We primarily service Northern New Jersey, Southern New York State, New York City, with a landfill located in Ohio, where we also own and operate a state-of-the-art rail-served landfill. We cater to a diverse range of residential, industrial, and commercial customers. Responsibilities:

- Develop interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and visualization requirements.
- Design and implement data models, OLAP cubes, and reports using the Microsoft SQL BI Stack and Power BI.
- Integrate Power BI reports into applications using embedded services or API automation.
- Install, configure, and manage data gateways for seamless data connectivity.
- Schedule and manage automated data refreshes according to business needs.
- Create and optimize tabular and multidimensional models.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address and troubleshoot data-related challenges.
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights through effective data modeling.
- Execute DAX queries and functions to enhance report capabilities.
- Implement security protocols across all dashboards and filters.
- Document and train users on Power BI solutions and best practices.
Qualifications:

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including workspaces, dashboards, and reports.
- Expertise in DAX expressions, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in multidimensional and tabular data warehouse design.
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.ADVANCED SKILLS:
- Mastery of Power BI Bookmarks.
- Experience setting up data alerts using Power Automate.
- Implementation of Row-Level Security (RLS) and Multi-Column RLS.
- Adherence to report design best practices.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Lakes, Databricks, Synapse, ETL processes, and API integration.

Salary Range Minimum: USD $100,000.00/Yr. Salary Range Maximum: USD $120,000.00/Yr
