Description:

The Power BI Systems Administrator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the compliance of all systems, applications, software, and hardware with corporate policies and procedures. This position involves identifying issues, developing solutions, documenting design processes, and maintaining standard operating procedures. The Systems Admin will collaborate with various teams to understand infrastructure needs, implement changes to enhance technology reliability and efficiency, perform production support tasks, and drive process improvements.

SKILLS:

  • Report development experience in Power BI Service
  • Running Power BI Service
  • DBA experience including query optimization and data connectivity (Oracle, Snowflake, or SQL server)
  • Experience troubleshooting networking issues and working with virtual machines
  • Proficiency in applying patches, software updates, and data connectivity management
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data architecture, and data types
  • Familiarity with Power Stack technologies and cloud hosting on Azure
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Tableau is a plus (On-Prem software)
  • CI/CD experience for operational improvements in applications (Azure knowledge)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
