Job Purpose:
The PowerCard Consultant plays a pivotal role in driving the sales and adoption of DIB’s PowerCard product. This individual will be responsible for proactively engaging with new and existing customers, understanding their financial needs, and effectively promoting the benefits of our PowerCard offerings to achieve individual and branch sales targets. The consultant will ensure a seamless customer experience, adhering to all Sharia principles and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales & Business Development:
* Generate and follow up on leads and referrals, actively tapping into walk-in customers in branches and conducting outbound calls and field visits to convert prospects into successful sales.
* Proactively approach existing and new customers to promote DIB’s PowerCard products and services, aiming to exceed individual and branch sales targets.
* Conduct cold calling, telephonic, and field visits to engage with potential and existing customers for business conversion.
* Provide expert advice on investment/financial solutions based on customer needs, with a focus on PowerCard benefits.
* Promote and educate customers on current promotions and offers related to PowerCard to enhance sales.
* Customer Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and encourage referrals.
* Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate the features and benefits of DIB’s PowerCard to potential customers.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring a positive customer experience.
* Documentation & Compliance:
* Maintain complete and accurate records and proper documentation of all PowerCard-related products and customer interactions to ensure effective compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
* Ensure all applications are processed with accuracy and within agreed-upon turnaround times (TAT), collaborating closely with Credit and Operations teams.
* Adhere strictly to all Sharia principles in all sales and customer interactions.
* Reporting & Analysis:
* Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the assigned Branch Manager.
* Provide regular feedback on target achievement, keeping track of monthly and yearly sales activities.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and adapt sales strategies.
* Collaboration & Support:
* Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Credit, Operations, and Marketing teams, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.
* Assist in any ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
* High School Diploma or above.
* Minimum 3-4 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in Credit Card products, within a reputable bank or financial institution.
* Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong understanding of banking products, particularly credit cards and related financial solutions.
* Knowledge of Sharia-compliant financial products is a significant advantage.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade customers effectively.
* Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
* Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

* Career Level: Junior Management
