QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in an electrical field or oilfield operations are required.
  • A Technical Certification is preferred.
  • Compenent level troubleshooting, schematics, electrical theory skills preferred.
  • Must possess advanced computer literacy.
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Previous experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairing a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location.
  • Performs function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance.
  • Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints.
  • Performs work within a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware.
  • Assist with rig up/rig down of electric frac equipment including making electrical connections (which includes heavy lifting of electrical cables), provides “ready-to-operate” job status to job site supervisor and suspends site operation if safe operation cannot be assured.
  • Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton’s system of record.
  • This role is responsible for repairs and/or replacement of three phase power distribution components up to 15,000 volts (medium voltage electricity), PLC hardware, and cabling.
  • Performs own work and assists others as directed.
  • Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations.
