Job Responsibilities: Job title: Power Electronics Engineer Job Introduction: As an experienced Power Electronics Design Engineer, you will be involved in the power electronics design & development of the traction inverter for electric vehicles. Major responsibilities: Power electronics hardware design & development. Understanding and selection of HW components like SiC/GaN power modules, gate drivers ICs, sensors, filters etc. Motor Control strategy (V/F, FOC etc.,) and PWM switching profile for Inverters. Power module performance analysis like junction temperature calculation, efficiency etc. for drive profile Hands on Simulation/Tools e.g., Matlab Simscape, PSIM, PLECS, LTSpice etc. Know how on the latest technological development of hardware. Experience in using HV test equipment like Oscilloscopes, Power meters, electronic loads etc. Hands on experience in working with High voltage lab setup. Hands on experience in creating schematics in Altium or similar software. Good to have knowledge of PCB design reviews. Support selection of the single system components and their integration into overall inverter Hardware Manages communication and alignment with all affected stakeholders. Work experience: 3 to 10 years of experience in power electronics circuit design or relevant job experience Knowledge & Education: Masters in Power Electronics or equivalent from reputed university/institution Knowledge on automotive EMI/EMC testing standards Experience in the automotive sector is desirable.
