QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 to 10 years of experience in power electronics and PCB design
  • Experience with DC/DC Converter Design
  • Stability and Reliability Analysis
  • Input Filter Design
  • PCB Design and SPICE simulations
  • Functional (Lab) testing
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset, but not required
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics Designer to join our hardware design team on a hybrid basis in Montreal. This role focuses on designing and testing power electronics PCBs, including motor drive units, DC power systems, and telemetry circuits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design high-frequency, high-efficiency power electronics PCBs
  • Develop schematics, layouts, and simulations
  • Select and qualify electronic components
  • Support PCB assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple disciplines
